Corpuz in with a 74, Chang done with a 75.
Freshman Alyaa Abdulghany used a late birdie-eagle combo to post a 1-over 73 while sophomore Allisen Corpuz carded a 2-over 74 as the Trojans battled to a 10-over second round at the 2018 NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek in Stillwater, Okla., finishing their day in third place.
USC sits at 13-over 589 (291-298), 16 back of first-place UCLA and 11 behind top-ranked Alabama while Arizona and Northwestern are tied for fourth, three back of the Trojans.
Inclement weather delayed the second round, the second wave of 12 teams racing the clock to get in a complete round, though all teams at least six shots back of USC.
The Trojans need to among the top 15 teams after Sunday's third round to advance, where they'll look for a top 8 finish Monday to move onto their fourth straight NCAA match play bracket.
Corpuz is tied for 20th at 2-over 146 (72-74), the sophomore posting a pair of birdies Saturday on 13 and 16 and closing with four straight pars.
Freshman Jennifer Chang is tied for 27th at 3-over 147 (72-75), rebounding from a triple bogey on 13th (USC started the morning on 10) to finish the rest of the round at par.
Abdulghany mixed two birdies and bogeys on her front before four straight bogeys between 2 and 5. The only freshman on the squad who has been here all season she then birdied the par 3 7th hole and eagled the par 4 8th to finish with USC's best round of the day.
Freshman Gabi Ruffels is tied for 46th in the 132-woman field at 6-over 150 (74-76) and freshman Amelia Garvey is tied for 56th at 7-over 151 (73-78) the duo combining for three birdies today.
USC's third round starting time will be determined following the completion of the second round.
