USC Women’s Golf Ready for 27th Straight NCAA Championships Final

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – USC Women's Golf is prepped to play in their last tournament of the season at the NCAA Championships, Friday, May 16th through Monday, May 19th at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif. This is the Trojans' 27th consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships.
The Women of Troy will face a fierce competitive slate of 30, including the other nine top-10 teams in the nation.

WHEN: The NCAA Championships stroke play portion will begin Friday, May 16th, and have the first cut following the third round on Sunday, May 18th. The field will be cut to 15, and then a subsequent cut will push the top eight teams into match play following the fourth round on Monday, May 19th. Match play will take place Tuesday, May 20th, through Wednesday, May 21st.

Bailey Shoemaker
Sophomore Bailey Shoemaker is headed to the Championships coming off a top-10 finish at the NCAA Lexington Regionals, where she tied for seventh, her third top-10 finish of the season. She finished the tournament three under par with 12 birdies and six bogeys. Shoemaker has a stroke average of 72.87.
Catherine Park
Junior Catherine Park is also coming off a top-10 finish at Regionals, tying for ninth and posting her ninth top-10 finish of the season. At the regionals, she tied the single-season record for the most top 10 finishes in a single season for USC - nine. The junior finished the tournament two under par with 13 birdies and seven bogeys. Park has a stroke average of 71.06.
Kylie Chong
Freshman Kylie Chong is ready to play in her first NCAA Championships. She tied for ninth alongside Catherine Park at Regionals, finishing two under par. This was her second top-10 finish this season. She posted 11 birdies and nine bogeys in Lexington and is headed to Carlsbad with a stroke average of 74.03.
Xin (Cindy) Kou
Senior Xin (Cindy) Kou heads down the coast for her last NCAA Championships. She placed 37th at Regionals after finishing five-over-par. She earned an eagle, six birdies and 11 bogeys while in Kentucky. Kou has a stroke average of 74.68.
Jasmine Koo
Freshman Jasmine Koo is prepped for her first NCAA Championships. She tied for 30th at Regionals after finishing four-over-par, where she earned her 12th round in the 60s – a new program record. The freshman was recently named a finalist for the ANNIKA Award, shortly after being named Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Koo has a stroke average of 70.94.
