THIS YEAR: Sophomore Andrew Arth is in his second season as a sprinter on the USC track and field team.
2020: Competed for the first time as a Trojan at the Beach Opener and had a wind-aided time of 22.69 (2.9w) in the 200m. The rest of the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
BEFORE USC: Began his college career at Santa Monica City College in 2019, but transferred to USC following the Fall semester.
HIGH SCHOOL: Arth graduated from Loyola High in 2019. He set the Loyola HS 400m record with a PR of 47.54 on April 19, 2019. He finished third in the 400m with a time of 47.90 at the CIF Southern Section Finals. Loyola finished fourth at the CIF State Championships and Arth anchored the team's winning 4x400m relay which posted a time of 3:17.56. He also has a 200m PR of 22.40.
PERSONAL: Andrew was born on May 17, 2000 in Oakland, Calif, but moved to Los Angeles when he was 2 years old. His parents are Susan and Jim Arth and he has an older sister, Delaney, and a younger brother, Matthew…Lists his favorite television shows as Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Entourage, Rick and Morty, and Breaking Bad…Is a huge Green Bay Packers fan…His favorite cuisine is Mexican…Someday would like to travel to Iceland…He is an Economics major at USC.
