2012-13
Ivana Filipovic enters her fourth year with the Women of Troy as a port-side rower.
2011-12
Filipovic withdrew from school for a year and redshirted her senior season.
2010-11
As a junior, Filipovic received CRCA Pocock All-America and CRCA All-West Region first-team notice and was named to the Pac-10 All-Conference Team. She also received academic honors as a CRCA Division I All-West Regional Scholar-Athlete. Filipovic occupied the varsity eight stroke seat for every race and helped the Trojans win the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic for just the third time in program history. Her contributions helped the varsity eight finish in third at the Pac-10 Championships and fifth in the NCAA Championship grand final as well as wins over Clemson, Michigan State, Virginia, and UCLA.
2009-10
As a sophomore, Filipovic was named to the CRCA Pocock All-America second team and was a CRCA All-West Region second-team selection. She also received Pac-10 All-Conference honors as she rowed from the stroke seat in the varsity eight boat and helped her crew to a third-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships; fourth-place in the team standings. She also stroked the varsity eight to a sixth-place finish in the grand final of the NCAA Championships. Filipovic contributed to wins at the Head of the American, over Notre Dame and Clemson at the SoCal Challenge, and against UCLA.
2008-09
As a freshman, Filipovic made an immediate impact as she moved up the ranks to hold the No. 6 seat in the varsity eight boat. She helped her crew to victories over UCLA and Harvard, and a fifth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships; fifth as a team. Filipovic also stroked the varsity eight to a third-place finish in the petite final at the NCAA Championships and an 11th-place finish in the team standings.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Filipovic rowed with the Serbian Junior National Team and U23 National Team for four years and is a current member of the Serbian National Team. She represented Serbia at the 2009 and 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in the single sculls event and finished seventh in the single scull in Brest, Belarus. Filipovic earned a ninth-place finish in the single scull at the 2008 U23 World Championships in Brandenburg, Germany and 10th in the double scull at the 2007 Junior World Championships in Beijing, China. She finished second in the junior double scull at the 2007 Balkan Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and was second in the junior single scull at the 2006 Balkan Championships in Istanbul, Turkey. Filipovic rowed for VK Danubius 1885 for five years and won seven gold medals and a silver medal in the single and double scull at the National Championships between 2005 and 2008.
