2012-13
Marlena Adamska enters her fourth year with the Women of Troy as a port-side rower.
2011-12
As a junior, Adamska rowed from the second seat in the varsity eight boat for the entire season. She helped the Trojans to a second straight Jessop-Whittier Cup title at the San Diego Crew Classic, and dual wins against Michigan State, Notre Dame, Princeton, and Yale. Adamska was also in USC[apos]s top eight boat that finished second at the Pac-12 Championships (fifth place as a team) and in third place at the NCAA Championships (sixth place as a team).
2010-11
In her sophomore season, Adamska split time between seat four and seat six in the second varsity eight boat and helped her boat to a third-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships (third as a team) and a sixth-place finish in the NCAA[apos]s second varsity eight grand final (fifth place as a team). Adamska also contributed to a pair of dual wins over Clemson and UCLA.
2009-10
As a freshman, Adamska took over the stroke position for the second varsity eight and helped the Trojans to a fourth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and an eighth-place finish at the NCAA championships. She also helped USC to a win over Notre Dame in the SoCal Challenge.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Adamska was a member of the Polish Junior National Team from 2006-2008. She finished second in eights in 2005 and 2006 and won gold in pairs in 2006 and 2008 at the Polish Junior Championships. Adamska claimed silver at the 2010 U23 Polish National Championships in the coxless two and won gold in the eights in 2009. She also won gold in pairs at the 2006 Olympic Hopes and the 2008 International Regatta in Munich, Germany. She placed second in eights at the 2007 International Regatta in Hamburg, Germany, and was third at the 2007 Baltic Cup in the coxless fours. She was sixth in the eights at the 2007 Junior World Championships in Beijing, China, and was eighth in pairs at the 2009 Junior World Championships. Adamska placed ninth in the coxless fours at the 2010 World University Championships in Hungary.
