Paige Fernandes enters her second year as a coxswain with the Trojans.
2011-12
As a freshman, Fernandes served as a coxswain with the novice eight and helped her boat to a third-place finish in the petite final at the San Diego Crew Classic. The same boat finished fourth in a preliminary heat at the Crew Classic.
CLUB AND HIGH SCHOOL
Fernandes was a coxswain for the men[apos]s rowing team at H.B. Plant HS (Tampa, Fla.) under head coach Matt Abel. She guided the men[apos]s JV8 to a bronze medal at the Scholastic National Championships in 2009. Fernandes was an honor roll student at Plant HS.

Paige Elyse Fernandes was born on April 15, 1993, in New York, N.Y.... parents are Ben and Deirdre Fernandes... has one older brother named Jordan who graduated from Vanderbilt... majoring in industrial and systems engineering.
