No. 1 USC Four Back Heading Into Pac-12 Preview Final Round

Freshman Malia Nam and sophomore Alyaa Abdulghany carded even rounds to lead to lead the No. 1 USC women's golf team in the second round of the Pac-12 Preview at the Nanea G.C. in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, on Tuesday (Nov. 5).
The Trojans, seeking their fourth win in a row for the first time since 2014, are now four off the pace, in sixth place, at 1-over 585 (289-296) after a 4-over second round.
California leads the field at 3-under with Stanford and Colorado tied at 1-under and Oregon and Arizona tied at par. The next closest team behind USC is Arizona State in seventh at 10-over.
Nam (72-73) is in position for her fifth straight top 10 to start her career, tied for eighth with sophomores Gabriela Ruffels (69-76) and Amelia Garvey (71-74). Ruffels is after her third top 10 this year (which includes one win) while Garvey is seeking her third straight top 15.
Abdulghany is tied for 34th at 5-over 151 (78-73) while sophomore Jennifer Chang is tied for 44th at 8-over 153 (77-76). Abdulghany was 4-under heading into her final three holes before some late troubles left her even today.
The tournament concludes Wednesday.
