Bio
2025: Jackson will compete for playing time at running back as a sophomore in 2025. He is a candidate for the 2025 Doak Walker Award.
2024: Jackson saw action in all 13 games at running back as a true freshman in 2024. He rushed for 188 yards on 36 attempts (5.2 avg.) and scored 1 TD. He also had 1 reception for no gain and a tackle.
He rushed for 34 yards on 7 carries and recorded 1 reception for no gain against Utah State. He tallied 12 yards on 4 carries against Wisconsin. He had 1 carry for 2 yards at Minnesota, and he rushed for 3 yards on 2 carries against Rutgers. He recorded 6 carries for season-high 71 yards (with his season-long of 23 yards) against Notre Dame. He tallied 66 yards on 16 carries with 1 TD in his breakout game in the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jackson, a four-star recruit, was touted as the No. 27 running back in the nation by Rivals, No. 44 by ESPN, No. 49 by On3 and No. 107 by 247Sports. He was rated as the No. 64 player in the state of Texas by Rivals, No. 82 by ESPN, No. 110 by On3 and No. 161 by 247 Sports.
As a senior at McKinney (Texas) HS, he rushed for 681 yards on 129 carries (5.3 avg.) for 8 TDs. He also collected 2 receptions for 8 yards (4.0 avg.). Additionally, he had 1 passing attempt for 42 yards which resulted in a TD. He was named the 2023 District 5-6A Offensive MVP. He also competed at the 2023 Elite 11 finals.
As a junior, he rushed for 1,647 yards on 265 carries (6.2 avg.) for 23 TDs. He also tallied 4 receptions for 26 yards (6.5 avg.) He was selected to the 2022 All-District 5-6A First Team, the 2022 Dallas Morning News All-Area Second Team and the 2022 Star Local Media All-Area Second Team.
