HIGH SCHOOL: Boatwright was touted as the No. 20 safety in the country by Rivals, No. 54 by ESPN, No. 56 by 247Sports and No. 78 by On3. He was rated as the No. 41 player in the state of Florida by Rivals, No. 81 by 247Sports, No. 83 by ESPN and No. 131 by On3. The four-star recruit was a four-year member of the Clearwater (Fla.) HS varsity football team playing in all three phases of the game.
As a senior, he collected 102 tackles, including 3 for loss, 1 INT, 6 PBUs and 1 fumble recovery. He also had 1 punt return for 5 yards (5.0 avg.). He was named to the 2023 FACA All-District First Team and was a 2023 FACA All-Star selection.
