As a 2019 junior, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Juniors third team, All-CIF Division 1, Los Angeles Times All-Areaand All-Trinity League first team when he had 43 tackles, including 16.5 for losses (with 7.5 sacks), an interception, 10 deflections, 3 fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
In 2018 as a sophomore, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Sophomores first team and Orange County Register All-Orange County third team as he had 44 tackles, including 20.5 for losses (with 7.5 sacks), an interception, 5 deflections, 4 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, plus he had a 4-yard rush.
He made 4 tackles as a 2017 freshman. Current Trojans Solomon Tuliaupupu, Kyron Hudson, Josiah Zamora and Corey Nerhus also prepped at Mater Dei.
