2021: Goforth started at inside linebacker as a junior in 2021. Overall in 2021 while appearing in all 12 games (with 8 starts, all but San Jose State, Stanford, Washington State and Utah), he had 61 tackles (second on USC), including 1 for a 3-yard loss, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble.

2019: Goforth, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2019 after graduating a semester early from high school, saw action at inside linebacker and on special teams as a first-year freshman in 2019. Overall in 2019 while appearing in 12 games (all but Notre Dame), he had 6 tackles. He had 1 tackle against Stanford and BYU, 3 against Arizona and 1 at California.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, All-CIF Division 1, Los Angeles Times All-Area and Long Beach Press-Telegram All-Area first team as a senior outside linebacker at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower (Calif.). He had 103 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 6 sacks), plus 3 deflections and a fumble recovery in 2018. St. John Bosco advanced to the 2018 CIF Division 1 championship game.
As a 2017 junior, he had 44 tackles, 4 deflections and a fumble recovery.
As a 2016 sophomore, he had 64 tackles, 2 deflections, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble on defense and 27 yards on 8 carries (3.4 avg) and a 4-yard reception on offense. Current Trojans Spencer Gilbert, Jude Wolfe, Chris Steele, Will Rose, Kobe Pepe, Danny Lockhart Jr., Matt Colombo and Maximus Gibbs also prepped at St. John Bosco.
He also was on St. John Bosco’s track team.
PERSONAL: He is a psychology major at USC. His brother, Randall, was a cornerback at UCLA (2012-16) who spent 2017 on injured reserve with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and then was with the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football in 2019.
