Bio
CAREER: He has appeared in 20 games in his career, with 12 starts (11 at left tackle, 1 at left guard).
2023: Ford looks to once again be a significant contributor on the Trojan offensive line as a redshirt junior in 2023.
2022: Ford saw action in 10 games (all but Fresno State, Oregon State, Washington State and Utah) and made 3 starts at left tackle during the 2022 season. He helped the Trojan offensive line unit to be selected as a Joe Moore Award Semifinalist.
2021: The precocious Ford started USC’s first 8 games (San Jose State, Stanford, Washington State, Oregon State, Colorado, Utah, Notre Dame, Arizona) at left offensive tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2021. He appeared in 9 games overall in 2021 (also UCLA). When he and Jonah Monheim both started against San Jose State in 2021, it marked the first time since at least 1984 when complete records are available that USC started freshmen at both tackle spots. He missed the Arizona State game with a leg injury and then sat out the BYU and California games with mononucleosis.
2020: Ford appeared in 1 game (a start at left guard against Washington State and he played well) as a first-year freshman offensive lineman in 2020.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2019 PrepStar All-Central Region, AP All-State 6A second team and All-District 7-6A first team as a senior offensive tackle at Cedar Hill (Tex.) High.
As a 2018 junior, he made All-District 7-6A first team and Dallas Morning News All-Area second team.
PERSONAL: He is majoring in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology at USC.
