2026: Johnson, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2026 after graduating a semester early from high school, looks to compete for playing time at linebacker as a true freshman in 2026.
HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson, a three-star recruit, was rated as the No. 50 player in the state of California by Rivals, No. 80 by ESPN and No. 109 by 247Sports. He was touted as the No. 31 linebacker in the country by ESPN, No. 55 by Rivals and No. 140 by 247Sports.
As a senior in 2025, he recorded 201 tackles, including 17.5 for loss with 6.5 sacks, 10 QBHs, 2 forced fumbles and 2 INTs. Offensively, he recorded 3 receptions for 97 yards (32.3 avg.) and 1 TD. He earned placement on The Sporting News 2025 High School All-America Third Team and the 2025 All-CIF Division IV Team. Prior to the season, he was named to the 2025 Preseason Cal-Hi All-State Second Team and the 2025 Preseason Cal-Hi All-CIF Southern Section Inland Empire Team.
As a junior in 2024, he tallied 174 tackles, including 9 for loss with 4 sacks, 3 PBUs, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He finished the 2024 season with the third-most tackles in the state of California. He was named to the 2024 All-Citrus-Belt First Team, the 2024 IE Varsity/The Press-Enterprise All-Inland Empire First Team, the 2024 All-CIF Southern Section Team and the 2024 Cal-Hi Sports All-State Third Team. He was also named the 2024 The Sporting News California High School Football Defensive Player of the Year.
As a sophomore in 2023, he had 70 tackles, including 10 for loss with 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble. He earned placement on the 2023 All-Citrus-Belt First Team.
PERSONAL: He is majoring in Real Estate Development at USC.
