2026: Riordan, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2026 after graduating a semester early from high school, looks to compete for playing time at safety as a true freshman in 2026.
HIGH SCHOOL: Riordan, a three-star recruit, was rated as the No. 48 player in the state of California by 247Sports, No. 51 by Rivals and No. 96 by ESPN. He was touted as the No. 53 safety in the country by 247Sports, No. 60 by Rivals and No. 91 by ESPN.
As a senior in 2025, he recorded 32 tackles, including 3 for loss, 4 INTs returned for 23 yards and 7 PBUs. Offensively, he notched 1 carry for 21 yards and a TD, and 6 receptions for 62 yards (10.3). He was named to the 2025 MaxPreps All-California First Team, the All-CIF Division I Team and was the 2025 All-Mission League MVP. He was also a 2025 Team Captain. Prior to the season, he was named a 2025 MaxPreps Preseason First Team All-American and was selected to the 2025 Preseason All-LIF Southern Section Team.
As a junior in 2024, he collected 43 tackles, including 2 for loss, 10 INTs returned for 153 yards and 1 TD and 14 PBUs. Offensively, he recorded 8 receptions for 68 yards (8.5 avg.). He earned 2024 MaxPreps Junior First Team All-American and 2024 High School on SI All-America First Team honors. He was also named to the 2024 Cal-Hi Sports All-State First Team, the 2024 All-CIF Southern Section Team, the 2024 Sporting News California All-State First Team, the 2024 Southern California’s Elite Cannon List All-State Team. He was named the 2024 All-Mission League MVP, the 2024 Cal-Hi Sports Defensive Back of the Year, the 2024 Daily News Defensive Player of the Year and the 2024 LA Times Defensive Back of the Year. He was also a 2024 Team Captain. Prior to the season, he was named a 2024 Preseason MaxPreps Junior Second Team All-American.
As a sophomore in 2023, he collected 29 tackles, 4 INTs returned for 40 yards, 11 PBUs and 3 forced fumbles. Offensively, he had 1 reception for 11 yards. He earned 2023 MaxPreps Sophomore Second Team All-American honors. He was also named to the 2023 Cal-Hi Sports All-State First Team, the 2023 All-Mission League First Team. He was a 2023 Rivals Camp Series Los Angeles invitee.
As a freshman in 2022, he notched 55 tackles, 1 INTs and 4 PBUs.
