2026: Tafa, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2026 after graduating a semester early from high school, looks to compete for playing time on the offensive line as a true freshman in 2026.\
HIGH SCHOOL: Tafa, a four-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 133 player in the nation by 247Sports. He was rated as the No. 3 player in the state of Utah by 247Sports, No. 5 by ESPN and No. 13 by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 5 interior offensive lineman in the country by 247Sports, No. 7 by ESPN and No. 47 by Rivals. He was nationally ranked 133rd on the Top 247 List and 220th on the ESPN 300 List.
In 2025, Corner Canyon won the 6A State Championship for the third-straight year. He earned placement on The Sporting News 2025 High School All-America Third Team. He was named a Sports Idol Nation Offensive Line All-American, the 6A Offensive Lineman of the Year by Slingin’ the Pill Media, a Utah-based outlet covering high school sports. Prior to the 2025 season, Tafa was named a 2025 MaxPreps Second Team All-American. He competed at the 2025 Utah Elite Showcase. He was a 2025 Under Armour Next Camp Salt Lake City and 2025 Rivals Camp Series Los Angeles invitee.
In 2024, Corner Canyon repeated as the 6A State Champions. Tafa was a 2025 Polynesian Bowl All-Star as a junior and was named to the 2024 MaxPreps Junior All-America Second Team. Prior to the season, he was named a 2024 Preseason MaxPreps Junior Second Team All-American. He was a 2024 Under Armour Next Camp Salt Lake City invitee.
Corner Canyon won the 2023 6A State Championship. The team advanced to the championship game in 2022, but came in second place.
