2026: Smith, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2026 after graduating a semester early from high school, looks to compete for playing time on the offensive line as a true freshman in 2026.
HIGH SCHOOL: Smith, a three-star recruit, was rated as the No. 3 player in the state of Colorado by ESPN, No. 10 by 247Sports and No. 1787 by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 34 interior offensive lineman in the country by ESPN, No. 64 by 247Sports and No. 71 by Rivals. Smith was a two-way player in high school.
As a senior in 2025, he had 3 tackles, including 1 for loss with 1 sack for minus 4 yards and 2 PBUs. He was named as a Colorado Prep Varsity Top 2026 Offensive Tackle and a Top 2026 Offensive Line/Defensive Line Candidate.
As a junior in 2024, he recorded 32 tackles, including 8.5 for loss with 2.5 sacks for minus 14 yards, 2 QBHs and 2 PBUs. Valor Christian reached the 2024 CHSAA 5A State semifinals. He was selected to the 2024 Colorado High School Athletic Association All-State Second Team. He was a 2024 Under Armour Next Camp Series: Salt Lake City invitee.
As a sophomore in 2023, he tallied 30 tackles, including 5 for loss with 1 sack for minus 8 yards, 4 QBHs, 2 INTs and 1 PBU. He was selected to the 2023 Colorado High School Athletic Association All-State Second Team.
As a freshman in 2022, he had 5 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. Valor Christian reached the state championship game.
Smith was also invited to play on the “Mile High Prep Team”, which is comprised of All-Star players from around the state who compete in the Prep Super League, a spring high school football league.
He also played baseball, basketball and competed in track and field where he threw the shot put and the discuss. He earned first place at the Cherry Creek Invite where he threw the shot put 47’ 11.00”. At the same event, he logged a 131’ 9.00” distance on the discuss. He was named to Colorado Prep Varsity Track's Top Athletes for the shot put.
