2026: Jefferson, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2026, looks to compete for playing time at tight end as a junior in 2026.
SOUTHWESTERN: Jefferson, a four-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 5 JUCO player in the nation by 247Sports, No. 8 by ESPN and No. 16 by Rivals. He was rated as the No. 3 JUCO player in the state of California by 247Sports and No. 7 by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 1 JUCO tight end in the country by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN.
In 2025, he recorded 36 receptions for 444 yards (12.3 avg.) and 4 TDs. He was earned placement on the 2025 All-Pacific Athletic Conference Team as well as the 2025 All-California Community College Region III First Team. Prior to the season, he was named a Preseason Junior College All-American by JucoGridiron.com.
In 2024, he tallied 23 receptions for 213 yards (9.3 avg.). He was named to the 2024 All-Mesa League First Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: In 2023 as a senior at Mater Dei High School, he recorded 11 receptions for 166 yards (15.2 avg.) and 3 TDs. Jefferson helped Mater Dei win the 2023 CIF Open Division State Championship and the 2023 CIF Southern Section Championship. Mater Dei was named the 2023 High School Football America and SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 National Champion.
Jefferson also played basketball in high school.
PERSONAL: He is majoring in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change at USC. His brother is Los Angeles Chargers safety Tony Jefferson.
