Magda Janicka is a senior starboard entering her fourth year with the Women of Troy...In 2011, Janicka rowed out of the fifth seat for the Varsity Eight helping the team to a fifth place finish at the NCAA Championships and a third place finish at the Pac-10 Championships...She was a key contributor to USC[apos]s title win in the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic as well as wins over Clemson, Michigan State, Virginia and UCLA...Earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors...In 2010, Janicka spent time on both the Varsity Four and Second Varsity Eight boats...helped USC to a fourth place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and eighth place at the NCAA Championships...she rowed out of the third seat in the Trojans win over Notre Dame at the SoCal Challenge...in 2009, Janicka rowed in the three seat with the Varsity Eight at the San Diego Crew Classic and rowed in the same spot on the Second Varsity Eight in the Charles River Challenge and against UCLA. She moved to the five seat in the same boat at the Pac-10 and NCAA Championships (where it finished third in the petite final). Rowing Highlights
Member of the Polish Junior National Team from 2006-2007...at the 2007 Munich International Regatta Janicka finished second in the eight and third in the coxless four...at the 2006 Baltic Cup she earned a second place finish in the coxless four (2000m) and first in the coxless four (500m)...rowed for the RTW Lotto Bydgostia Wsg Bp club from 2005-2008...at the Polish Senior Championships in a long distance 8K in 2007 Janicka finished in third place...at the U23 polish championships she received a third place finish...at the Polish Junior Championships in 2007 Janicka placed second in the coxless four and second in the eight...at the 2006 Polish Junior Championships Janicka earned a first place finish in the eight.
