THIS YEAR:
Graduate transfer Micah Williams is in his first season as a sprinter on the USC track and field team, after competing in track and field or football at Oregon from 2020-24.
BEFORE USC:
Williams is a graduate transfer sprinter from Oregon. He is a two-time Pac-12 100m champion (2022, 2023) and was part of Team USA’s 4x100m relay pool at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Williams has PRs of 9.86 in the 100m (Oregon school record) and 20.05 in the 200m. Williams is a three-time NCAA Outdoor All-American in the 100m dash and the 2021 NCAA Indoor 60m dash champion. His indoor PR of 6.48 in the 60m dash is the Oregon record and the eighth-fastest collegiate performer in the event. He earned a degree in Advertising at Oregon.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Williams is a 2020 graduate of Benson High in Portland, Ore. He was a three-time Gatorade Oregon Boy’s Track and Field Runner of the Year. He was the 2019 New Balance Nationals indoor champion at 60 meters, winning with a time of 6.60. This 60m time ranked No. 1 nationally and is the sixth-fastest all-time by a high school runner. He was the 2018 OSAA 6A state champion in the 100 and 200 meters, breaking the Oregon prep state records with times of 10.21 in the 100 meters and 21.03 in the 200 meters. He ranked No. 2 nationally in the 100 meters as a junior. Williams finished fourth at the 2018 USA Junior Championships in the 100 meters (10.37). He was a six-time 6A-1 PIL champion (100m, 200m and 4x100m in 2017 and 2018). Williams finished third in the 100 meters at the 2017 OSAA 6A State Championships as a freshman.
PERSONAL:
Micah was born on Nov. 12, 2001 in Portland, Ore.…His interests include working on his car, photography, real estate and video games….His favorite food is tacos…Someday would like to travel to Tokyo…After school he would like to be a professional athlete and a business owner/real estate investor…Williams is working on a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at USC..
