2021: Lockhart will serve as a reserve inside linebacker as a walk-on redshirt freshman in 2021.
2020: Lockhart was a reserve inside linebacker and special teams player as a first-year freshman walk-on in 2020. He appeared briefly in one game (Oregon) but did not make a tackle.
HIGH SCHOOL: He had 78 tackles, including 8 for losses (with 3 sacks), plus a deflection and fumble recovery as a 2019 senior inside linebacker at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower (Calif.). St. John Bosco won the 2019 CIF Division 1 and California State Open championships. Current Trojans Ralen Goforth, Jude Wolfe, Chris Steele, Spencer Gilbert, Will Rose, Kobe Pepe, Matt Colombo and Maximus Gibbs also prepped at St. John Bosco.
He spent his first 3 seasons at Citrus Valley High in Redlands (Calif.). He made 2018 All-Citrus Belt League first team as a junior, getting 110 tackles, including 8 for losses (with 4 sacks), plus 3 deflections, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 forced fumbles.
As a 2017 sophomore, he had 60 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 1 sacks), and an interception.
PERSONAL: He has a 3.63 GPA at USC.
