CAREER: In his career, he has rushed for 443 yards on 78 carries (5.7 avg) with 2 TDs, caught 13 passes for 126 yards (9.7 avg) with 3 TDs and returned a 20-yard kickoff. He has appeared in 12 games in his career, with 3 starts.
2021: The speedy Christon, the fastest Trojan (he also sprints for the USC track team, where he was part of a Pac-12 championship sprint relay quartet), aims to be a key part of the tailback rotation as a junior in 2021. He spent the spring of 2021 solely with the track team and did not participate in spring football practice.
2020: Christon saw action as a backup sophomore tailback in 2020. Overall in 2020 while appearing in 5 games (all but Oregon), he ran for 70 yards on 10 carries (7.0 avg) and caught 2 passes for no yards (0.0 avg). He often was deep on kickoffs but did not return a kickoff.
He had a 4-yard run and had a reception for minus 3 yards at Arizona. He jetted for 55 yards on 5 carries (including a 47-yard run) at Utah. He had 3 carries for 11 yards and caught a 3-yard pass against Washington State, then had a carry for no gain at UCLA.
2019: Christon began his 2019 first-year freshman season as USC’s No. 5 tailback, but by mid-season he played a prominent role. Overall in 2019 while appearing in the last 7 games of the season (and starting 3, versus Arizona State, California and UCLA), he ran for 373 yards on 68 carries (5.5 avg) with 2 TDs, caught 11 passes for 126 yards (11.5 avg) with 3 TDs and had a 20-yard kickoff return.
In his first action at USC, he came off the bench in the middle of the third quarter against Arizona when Stephen Carr and Markese Stepp left with injuries (Vavae Malepeai didn’t suit up due to injury) and he ran for a game-best 103 yards on 8 carries with a pair of TDs (55 and 30 yards) where he used his sprinter’s speed to run away from defenders. With Malepeai, Carr and Stepp all sidelined by injury at Colorado, he ran for a game-best 76 yards on 14 carries and caught 2 passes for 1 yard, including a 3-yard TD catch. He had a game-best 79 yards on 15 carries and also had a 5-yard reception against Oregon. He got his first career start at Arizona State and responded with 144 all-purpose yards, getting 62 yards on 20 carries and 82 yards on 4 catches with 2 TDs (8 and 58 yards, dragging defenders the last 20 yards on his second TD) to earn Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Week honors (his 82 receiving yards were the most in a game by a USC freshman tailback since Reggie Bush’s 132 yards versus Washington in 2003 and the most by a Trojan tailback since Javorius Allen’s 86 yards against Airzona State in 2014). He ran for 44 yards on 9 carries and had an 11-yard reception at California. He had 9 yards on 2 rushes, caught a 14-yard pass and had a 20-yard kickoff return against UCLA. He caught 2 passes for 13 yards against Iowa.

He had indoor bests of 6.84 in the 60 meters and 21.55 in the 200 meters and an outdoor best of 10.39 in the 100 meters (it was his only outdoor race before the track season was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns). He also ran a leg on a 400-meter relay team that clocked 39.81.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2018 PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team and All-CIF San Diego third team as senior running back and cornerback at Madison High in San Diego (Calif.). He ran for 980 yards on 127 carries (7.7 avg) with 11 TD and caught 9 passes for 122 yards (13.6 avg) with 1 TD in 2018.
As a junior in 2017, he made All-CIF San Diego second team as he ran for 1,233 yards on 111 carries (11.1 avg) with 16 TDs and caught 6 passes for 107 yards (17.8 avg) with 1 TD.

He was named the 2019 Gatorade California Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: He is a business administration major at USC.
