CAREER:  He has 10 tackles, with 1 for a loss of 2 yards, in his career.  He has appeared in 13 games, with 1 start.
2022: Winston, who moved from inside linebacker to rush end in spring of 2022, will battle for playing time as a redshirt senior.
2021:  Winston appeared in 3 games (Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State) as a backup inside linebacker as a redshirt junior in 2021.  He made 1 tackle (versus Arizona) in 2021.
2020:  Winston was expected to battle for playing time at inside linebacker as a sophomore in 2020, but he suffered a broken ankle in the summer of 2020 and missed the 2020 season while recovering.
2019:  Winston saw key action in USC’s last 7 games (Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona State, California, UCLA, Iowa) as a backup outside linebacker as a redshirt freshman in 2019.  He started once (Arizona State).  Overall in 2019, he had 8 tackles, including 1 for a 2-yard loss.  He suffered a sprained right ankle in 2019 fall camp and was sidelined for USC’s first 6 games.  He had 2 tackles at Colorado, 1 tackle against Oregon, a tackle for loss at Arizona State, a tackle at California and 3 tackles against UCLA.
2018:  Winston saw brief action in 4 games (Arizona State, California, Oregon State, UCLA) at outside linebacker and on special teams as a first-year freshman in 2018, allowing him to redshirt.  Overall in 2018, he had 1 tackle (at Oregon State).
HIGH SCHOOL:  He made 2017 Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Tacoma News Tribune Northwest Nuggets Best of the Rest and USA Today All-Oregon second team as a senior outside linebacker at Central Catholic High in Portland (Ore.).  In 2017, he had 14 tackles, including 5 for losses (with 4 sacks) and a fumble recovery.  
As a 2016 junior, he made USA Today All-Oregon first team while getting 15 tackles (3 for losses) and a fumble recovery.  
PERSONAL:  He is a psychology major at USC.  His brother, La’Mar, was an outside linebacker at Oregon (2016-19).
