2023: Jones’ had a spectacular first season for USC, setting the school heptathlon record, earning All-America honors in the event, winning the Pac-12 heptathlon title and setting PRs in virtually every event. She was named the 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Field Athlete of the Year and the West Region Indoor Women's Track Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA. Jones originally set the USC heptathlon record by scoring 6, 217 points in winning the Mt. SAC Relays Elite competition on April 13…she broke the previous record of 6,079 which was set in 1988 by Wendy Brown. Jones then bettered her school record in scoring 6,234 to win the Pac-12 heptathlon on May 13…it was Jones’ second consecutive conference title and her points total ranks third on the Pac-12’s all-time list. Jones earned All-America honors in the heptathlon by placing fourth with 6,052 points at the NCAA Championships on June 10. Jones competed in the heptathlon at the USATF Championships, but had to pull out after the first day due to injury. Personal bests set by Jones during the outdoor season were: 200m (23.35), 800m (2:13.03), 110m H (12.81, 7th on USC’s AT list), HJ (5-8.50), LJ (20-5.25), SP (42-10.25) and JT (133-3). During the indoor season, she placed second in the pentathlon with 4,440 points at the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 10 to earn All-America honors…her point total is four off the school record of 4,444 points set by Amalie Iuel in 2016. The indoor PRs she set were in the 60m hurdles (8.17, 9th on USC’s AT list), 800m (2:15.09), HJ (5-8.75, 3rd on USC’s AT list), LJ (20-4.25, 9th on USC’s AT list) and SP (40-7.75).
BEFORE USC: Allie joins the Trojans after graduating from Stanford. 2022: She placed fourth at the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon with a score of 5,823...she set her 200m PR of 23.95 (+0.4). She ran the 100m hurdles at the West Preliminary Rounds and placed 28th with a time of 13.58 (-0.9). She won the Pac-12 heptathlon title with 5,731 points, winning the hurdles, 200m and HJ. Set her heptathlon PR of 5,832 to place second at the Mt. SAC Relays...set her 800m (2:14.62) and shot put (41-3.25) PRs during the event. Indoors, she set her pentathlon PR of 4,055 in placing second at the Pac-12 Invitational. 2021: Placed 10th in the heptathlon with a score of 5,623 at the NCAA Championships...set her 100m hurdles PR of 13.37 (-0.2). Was second in the heptathlon at the Pac-12 Championships, scoring 5,727 points. Set her LJ PR of 19-6.75/5.96m at the Oregon Relays. 2019: She placed 11th in the heptathlon at the Pac-12 Championships with 4,980 points...also competed in the open 100m hurdles and LJ. Set her 100m PR of 12.50 (+0.9) at the Hornet Invitational. Indoors, she placed 10th in the pentathlon with 3,618 points at the MPSF Championships. Academic honors include CoSIDA District 8 All-Acadmeic (2022), USTFCCCA All-Academic (2021) and a two-time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll honoree (2021 and 2022).HIGH SCHOOL: Third in the heptathlon at the 2018 U.S. junior nationals. 2018 California state finalist in the 100 hurdles (fifth) and long jump (seventh) while at San Marcos High School. Two-time state 100 hurdles finalist. Santa Barbara County 100 hurdles record-holder at 13.81. 2018 CIF-Southern Section Division II 100 hurdles champ. Third at the 2017 Arcadia Invitational in her first year training for the event, after soccer, which she had played for 10 years. Trained at the Santa Barbara Track Club alongside Olympic heptathlete Barbara Nwaba, who occasionally coached her. In the hurdles, Jones was second at the 2017 CIF-Southern Section Masters Meet (13.90). Second in the county in the shot put in 2017
PERSONAL: Allie was born on June 29, 2000 in Santa Barbara, Cali…Her parents are Adrienne and Alan Jones, and is one of three siblings with Emma and Olivia…She enjoys baking and going to the beach… She is getting her master's in Healthcare Administration.
