THIS YEAR: Senior Austin Allen is in his second season as a jumper and sprinter on the USC track and field team.
2022: Austin saw his first action as a Trojan by taking second in the long jump with a leap of 23-11.00/7.29 (+2.6w) at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1. He placed 13th in the event with a jump of 22-5.25/6.84m (-0.2) at the Pac-12 Championships on March 14.
2021: Austin elected to sit out the 2021 season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Allen is a 2019 graduate of Bullis School in Potomac, Md. He has PRs of 10.67 in the 100m, 21.9 in the 200m and 24-1 in the long jump. He won the 2019 IAC long jump title. He was named first-team All-MET. He won as part of the 4x400m and Swedish 100m-200m-300m-400m relay at the 2019 New Balance Invitational.
PERSONAL: Austin was born on November 21, 2000 in Philadelphia, Pa....His parents are Antoinette and Eric Allen Sr.....He has two bothers, Ashton and Eric Jr., both who also competed with the USC T&F team...He was an honor roll student and was in student government and was president of the Black Student Union from 2018-19...His hobbies include photography, art, swimming and meditation...His favorite actor is Denzel Washington, favorite musical artists are Denzel Curry, Lamar, The Weeknd and Brent Faiyaz...Lists his sports hero as Kobe Bryant for his mindset and mentality which is unique and unmatched....He is a big fan of popcorn...He is undecided upon a major at USC.
