THIS YEAR: Graduate student Chris Borzor is in his first season on the USC track and field team after transferring from Cincinnati.
BEFORE USC: Borzor competed at Cincinnati from 2018-21. He posted a number of school records for the Bearcats – (Indoor: 200m – 20.84, 300m – 33.98) and (Outdoor: 200m – 20.55). 2022: He finished third in the 100m with a time of 10.15 (+2.8w), eighth in the 200m with a time of 23.45 (+2.5w) and placed second with the 4x100m relay at the American Championships. Indoors, he finished fourth in the 200m and sixth in the 400m at the American Indoor Championships. 2021: He took third in the 200m (20.46w) and second in the 400m (46.15) and third with the 4x100m relay at the American Championships. Advanced to the East Prelims in the 200m and placed 26th with a time of 20.93 (+2.1w). 2020: He won the American Indoor Championships 200m title with a time of 20.84 and took second in the 400 with a time of 47.43. 2019: He placed third in the 200m (20.57w) third in the 400m (47.37), fourth with the 4x100m and sixth with the 4x400m relays at the American Championships. He set the Cincinnati freshman record of 20.57 in the 200m.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Uniondale HS in Uniondale, N.Y. He was a versatile track and field athlete with high school PR’s of 10.61 in the 100m, 21.57 in the 200m, 48.57 in the 400m, and 23-0.50 in the long jump. He placed 5th in the 100m and 200m at the New York State Track and Field Championships as a senior. He was a 2018 New Balance Nationals qualifier.
PERSONAL: .Chris was born on April 11, 1999 in Uniondale, N.Y…His parent is Mane Borzor…he enjoys traveling… Aspires to continue his athletic career after graduating from USC...He is working on a certificate in Gerontology.
